James Powell

Eur Ing Professor James Powell OBE is a Chartered Builder, Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Enterprise and Regional Affairs, and Professor of Academic Enterprise at Salford University. James’ area of expertise are sustainability, community finance, design, team building, business process engineering and multimedia communication, in particular research focused on the use of advanced digital media to nurture innovation for wealth creation in small enterprises. He is now exploring benchmarking academic enterprise to drive for best practice. He has published over a dozen books and a hundred refereed papers. Made an OBE in the Queen’s 1996 Birthday Honours.
